THE TIP-OFF: TRI-LINER
Triple the impact.
Bored with basic eyeliner styles? Have we got the look for you! Inspired by the avant-garde styles we saw on this year’s runway, Sephora PRO Artist Erik Soto demonstrates how to get this triple threat eye look. BECKY PEDERSON
Use Hourglass 1.5MM Mechanical Gel Eye Liner to tight line and dot your upper lash line. Pull the line past your outer corner to form a mini wing.
Follow your eye’s bone structure to draw a thin line slightly above where your eye naturally creases. Mirror the shape of the first line, and don’t connect them—this line should be floating.
Starting at the midpoint of your lower lash line, draw a line that stops just short of your outer corner. Then, pull the line out to mirror the top two lines.
Once you’ve drawn all your lines, trace over each one in Kat Von D Tattoo Liner—the liquid formula will prevent the gel from smudging. Finish the look with Marc Jacobs Beauty O!Mega Lash Volumizing Mascara.
To prevent bleeding, using a primer first. If you’re having trouble getting a precise line, draw it first with a pencil and then layer the gel liner on top. When used with a liquid liner, this will help with saturation and promote the gel liner’s staying power.
